Tino’s Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup milk (e.g. oat milk)
  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 3–4 mushrooms, finely diced
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp dried oregano

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix oats and milk, then let sit for 10 minutes to soften.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and mix until fully combined.
  4. Roll into balls (about 1–2 tbsp each) and place on the prepared tray. Drizzle lightly with olive oil.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
