Ingredients
- 1 cup dates, pitted *(soaked in boiling water for 1 minute, then drained and squeezed dry)*
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup oats
- 2/3 cup ground almonds
Method
- Place all ingredients **except dates** into a food processor and blend into a fine crumb.
- With the processor running, add in dates a few at a time until the mixture becomes sticky and holds together.
- Roll the mixture into small balls.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
- Store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to two weeks.
