Gingerbread Bliss Balls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dates, pitted *(soaked in boiling water for 1 minute, then drained and squeezed dry)*
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup oats
  • 2/3 cup ground almonds

Method

  1. Place all ingredients **except dates** into a food processor and blend into a fine crumb.
  2. With the processor running, add in dates a few at a time until the mixture becomes sticky and holds together.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
  5. Store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to two weeks.
