Ingredients
- 3 cups self raising flour
- 3 cups grated cheese
- 1 onion, chopped into tiny pieces
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs (mixed into milk)
- Salt & pepper
Method
- Heat oven to 180°C.
- Sift flour, then add cheese and chopped onion.
- Add the milk and egg mixture and mix lightly (do not over-mix, as this can ruin the scones).
- Divide into 12 scones and place on a baking tray.
- Bake until golden and delicious-looking.
- Serve smeared with butter.
