Ingredients

  • 200g butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 2 cups cornflakes

Icing

  • 50g butter
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup icing sugar
  • 3 tbsp cocoa

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Beat butter and sugar until light and creamy.
  3. Add flour and cocoa, mix well.
  4. Gently fold in cornflakes.
  5. Roll spoonfuls onto a lined baking tray and flatten slightly with a fork.
  6. Bake for about 9 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool completely before icing.

  9. Gradually beat in icing sugar and cocoa.
  10. Add a little boiling water if needed to reach a spreadable consistency.
